Video to Frames ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at https://videotoframes.online. We are committed to keeping the service private and transparent. The core design decision behind the site is that your videos are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to an application server for extraction.

By using the site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• Videos you select in the extraction tool are read and processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to a Video to Frames application server for frame extraction.
• Extracted frames are generated on your device. We do not see, store, or access your source videos or your extracted images.
• Frames are saved only when you choose to download them. Nothing is stored in your browser after the page is closed unless your browser itself keeps temporary data.

Like most websites, the hosting and security infrastructure may process basic request information when you visit the site, including:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Browser type, version, and device information
• Pages requested, timestamps, and referring pages
• Diagnostic and security events

This information is used to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose errors, and understand general service reliability.

The site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregated usage, such as which pages are visited and how the extraction tool is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may process information such as your IP address, device type, and interaction data.

Google may process this data according to its own privacy policy. You can learn more and control how Google handles your data at policies.google.com/privacy. You can also block Google Analytics using browser extensions or cookie settings.

• Analytics cookies: set by Google Analytics to measure aggregated usage of the site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the frame extraction tool.

The site relies on the following providers:

• Cloudflare for content delivery and security. Cloudflare may process standard request information when pages are served. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Google Fonts to load the JetBrains Mono font. Google may receive standard request information when the font file is requested. See policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Analytics for aggregated usage measurement, as described in section 4.

These providers handle information under their own privacy policies and service terms.

Information described in this policy is used only to:

• Deliver the website and the extraction tool
• Maintain security and diagnose errors
• Understand aggregated usage and improve the service
• Respond to messages you send us

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information.

Information may be shared only:

• With the third-party providers listed in section 6, to the extent needed to operate the site
• When required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process
• To protect the security of the service or the rights of users

We do not store your videos or extracted frames. Hosting and security logs are retained by the infrastructure provider for a limited period for security and diagnostics. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and resolve the matter.

The site is served over HTTPS so traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted. Because video processing happens locally, your files never transit our servers, which removes the main exposure found in upload-based tools.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a trusted device and keep your browser updated.

Because we collect very little personal information, most requests are easy to honor:

• Opt out of analytics: block Google Analytics cookies or use a tracking blocker.
• Access or deletion: contact us at [email protected] and we will review your request against the limited data we hold.

If you are in the EU/EEA, the GDPR gives you rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

The hosting and analytics infrastructure may be located outside your country of residence, and the providers described in section 6 may process information in other jurisdictions under their own safeguards.

This policy may be updated when the service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
